Présentation de la Tour Colombier



At Édith et Claude The house and the dovecoat The house takes place at one end of a charming and typical of Burgundy village : Dompierre-sur-Héry. The view is wide on the fields and the nice nivernais's hills in the direction of Brinon-sur-Beuvron.

When it had built, in 1844 as engraved on a stone over the big front door, the house was a large barn whith stables for the cattle. The tower dedicated to pigeons is much older. It has been built during the 16th century and belonged to the monks of the abbey of Saint-Révérien. Before the French Revolution, the priors of the abbey were granted the privilege to pocess Pigeons.

			The owners Edith and Claude started their professionel lifes quite classically and, around forty, opened at the end the restaurant they both have dreamed for years.
This place "Aux Petits Oignons" was close by the "Musée d'Orsay" in Paris and during more than 20 years they cooked together and were pleased to welcome customers from Paris, France, and also from all over the world. At "Tour Colombier", they will receive you with the same care, in order that you spend a pleasant time in this lovely country and if you want, for supper, taste their cooking.
